The Lord John Russell was formerly Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He first entered office on 30 June 1846 and first left office on 21 February 1852. He was a member of the Whig party. He was succeeded by The Earl of Derby .

He was born on 18 August 1792 and he died on 28 May 1878 at the age of 85.
